The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This fairy painting is inspired by "Under The Sea" painted by Sir Joseph Noel Paton. The background is a photo I took at China Camp near San Rafael, California. The model is a digital creation courtesy of daz3D.
